The exhibition Militanter Aktionismus / Plakativer Aktivismus. Global Design Politics deals with design in its political and social dimension. Based on selected historical and contemporary positions of the last fifty years, the exhibition shows how design addresses the essential discourses of the respective time. Thus, contemporary conditions are critically negotiated, alternatives are created, ruptures are generated and new visions are developed.
The exhibition includes 10-12 international projects, among them l'Atelier Populaire (FR), Global Tools (IT), Maxivive (NG), Institute for Applied Autonomy (USA), Ruben Pater (NL), Superflux (UK/IN), Tactical Technology Collective (D), Silvia Knüppel (D), Ayzit Bostan (D) and others. The works were shown as animated projections at MaximiliansForum München.
